You'll provide mass communications advising to organizational leaders, members, and stakeholders at unclassified and classified levels.
As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll develop creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to analyze customer needs and make appropriate recommendations for tailoring messages and information, communication methods to use, and timing of messages by target audience.
As the organizational advisor of all aspects of verbal and written communications, you’ll oversee and author baseline assessments, design communication approaches or plans, and develop products and vehicles to support the approach.

You Have:
5 years of experience with communications planning and implementation activities
Experience supporting multiple workstreams in a customer-focused environment
Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
Ability to work with government and military clients, respond to changing priorities, and adapt writing style to meet the needs of audiences at various levels
Ability to be professional and show enthusiasm for client and teammate collaboration
Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, and work on several projects simultaneously
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience in the strategic communications field or speechwriting, including change management, content development, Web strategy, and implementation planning
Experience writing and editing material in a journalistic style for publication on the Web and workforce messages and newsletters
Experience with Navy organization and culture
Knowledge of design principles
Ability to translate ideas and concepts into professional communication products
Master's degree in Communications or Marketing
Change Management or Knowledge Management Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
