We’re looking for an experienced communications specialist like you who is ready to grow and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you’ll apply your consulting skills to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of communication materials and media that support DoD initiatives focused on the advancement of the cyber workforce.

As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll closely impact the development of creative strategic communications solutions. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to facilitate the adoption of cyber workforce strategies, policies, and programs while helping the DoD remain an employer of choice among cyber professionals. As a collaborator on all aspects of verbal and written communications, you will work on a dynamic team in a fast-paced client environment to develop compelling written and visual communications in support of DoD campaigns. You’ll author key strategic communications products that clearly convey critical information. Work with us as we implement DoD cyber workforce initiatives to change mission success for the better.

You Have:

• 4 years of experience providing strategic communications expertise
• Experience designing and implementing communication strategies or campaigns, and delivering communication products for audiences using multiple communication channels
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher
• Ability to build client relationships and communicate effectively with senior leaders
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with social media and digital marketing
• Knowledge of DoD-enterprise or Component-level communication channels
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Communications or Public Relations

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
