As an acquisition management professional, you know that understanding and navigating the adaptive acquisition framework is pivotal to your clients’ missions. We’re looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government. Bring your passion to support defense acquisition programs and improve the processes that defend our nation.

As a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to impact our country’s defense acquisition process. On our team, you’ll recommend program strategies, draft required documentation to satisfy statutory and regulatory requirements such as the Acquisition Strategy, or Middle Tier of Acquisition Transition Plan.

You’ll help your clients structure acquisition programs for success and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You’ll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll deliver meaningful acquisition support.

You Have:

• 7 years of experience with DoD acquisition
• Experience drafting acquisition documents, including Acquisition Strategies, Statements of Work, Acquisition Program Baselines, and defining requirements
• Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to advise clients on the requirements and advantages of various DoD 5000 Adaptive Acquisition Pathways
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with the Navy acquisition process, including NAVSEA preferred
• Experience with acquisition reporting
• Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, research, and organizational skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• DoD DAWIA, PMP, or other industry Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
