What are the responsibilities and job description for the UX Designer position at Booz Allen?
The Opportunity:
You know that a good tool, system, or site is more than just the code, infrastructure, and a nice-looking interface–it’s the way it addresses a user’s needs. As an experience designer, you put yourself in the user’s place and design the best way for them to engage with the tool, system, or site. We’re looking for someone creative like you to work with a team of SMEs, developers, and designers to craft the ultimate user experience (UX).
In this role you’ll research, design, and prototype the look and feel of both digital and non-digital products, making products more intuitive, easy to use, and aesthetically pleasing for the user. You’ll apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to assist in building a design system and work on a team aiming to improve the user experience across web platforms while solving complex challenges. You’ll advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements, all the while keeping the end-user at the center of your work.
Join us. The world can’t wait.
