Are you our Restaurant Facilities Director?

We’re seeking a Facilities Director to ensure operational excellence, safety, and compliance across all locations while maintaining our brand standards. This role involves overseeing vendor management for repairs, preventative maintenance, and special projects, while managing budgets and capital expenditures. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with extensive restaurant facilities management experience, capable of collaborating with operations teams and independently handling multiple priorities.

You’ll thrive in this position if you have :

  • Project Management Experience : Expertise in managing repair and maintenance programs, preventative maintenance schedules, capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, and other special initiatives.

Technical Knowledge : Proficiency in restaurant building and equipment systems, including refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other essential systems.

Quality Management Skills : The ability to plan, organize, execute, and monitor tasks to meet Boqueria’s high standards and operational objectives.

Responsibilities :

Here’s the kind of work you’ll get to do :

Ensure all company restaurants live up to brand standards while meeting all health and safety standards

Conduct routine site-assessment inspections of buildings and equipment

Create and maintain preventative maintenance schedules

Source and manage vendor partners and generate a network of contractor partnerships

Ownership of all restaurant repair and maintenance needs

Oversight and approval of work orders submitted by restaurants

Ensure vendor performance and maintain budgets

Develop and manage projects and budgets for CapEx projects

Provide project management for projects, remodels, rollouts, and any other initiatives

Qualifications

Required

5 years of relevant experience in restaurant facilities management

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Proven experience in managing repair vendors, preventative maintenance programs and CapEx projects

Strong project management, planning and organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (written & verbal)

Pays close attention to details

Design sensibility aligned with Boqueria’s aesthetics

Able to prioritize duties & tasks with a sense of urgency

Deadline oriented and completes tasks, assignments or projects in a timely manner

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree or industry-related degree (Construction, Architecture, or Engineering)
