The Opportunity : We currently have a great opportunity available for an experienced Estimator for our Boral Asphalt team. Based in Stonyfell SA 5066, you will be responsible for maximising profit and financial performance through the effective and efficient management of the estimating process. Key Duties : Professionally prepare quotes, offers, tenders and expressions of interest Manage contract risk through efficient and effective pre-tender reviews, contract reviews, project post audits and the application of appropriate training Work with key in‑house personnel to gain buy-in and benefit from their insights during the estimating process Develop and maintain long term, mutually beneficial relationships with key customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods Value add wherever possible to meet and / or exceed client expectations, improve profitability and improve market share, and Manage product / service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims About You : Proven ability and experience in estimating / contract negotiation / contract administration / project management within the construction or civil construction industry Tertiary qualifications in either Civil Engineering or Project Management (preferable) A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus Well-developed written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills in an estimating program and Microsoft Office Sound presentation skills, and An attitude and commitment that will fit a highly motivated team environment.
