Manager in Training
- Border Grill is hiring for an Assistant General Manager at our Marquette location. An Assistant General Manager at Border Grill supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and optimizing profitability, while adhering to company policies and food safety standards. You will be trained in the following areas: running daily shifts, placing and putting away daily food orders, scheduling of employees, inventory management, controlling food and labor costs, guest service, problem solving, providing outstanding leadership, hiring and training of new employees, running all aspects of the restaurant, enforcing food handling regulations and other guidelines to increase guest safety, promoting the restaurant and finding ways to bring in more customers, handling customer complaints, completing necessary paperwork, such as sales, inventory and staff attendance reports.
Manager in Training Requirements:
- 1 year of restaurant experience preferred
- 1 year of kitchen experience preferred
- Problem solving skills
- Previous experience in a management role
- Guest service
- Ability to work both night and day shifts

Pay: $18 - $20 / hour
