Hiring for 2025 Season!
Operate the controls of the screed on paving machine to control the quantity and consistency of asphalt deposited; estimates overall quantity for the project and quantity needed to achieve the correct grade in the finished surface. Responsible for the efficient working condition of the screed and is expected to perform maintenance and minor servicing. Take instruction from foreman and assist with groundwork when required. The highest quality of workmanship is expected in assigned paving projects while working in a safe, productive and professional manner.
Summer travel throughout ND & SD Seasonal Full Time 70 hours per week Mon-Sat
Excellent wages: $32.40-$33.40/hr plus $21.90/hr fringe(goes towards health insurance and pension).
PLUS $350 weekly per diem to go towards housing of your choice
Education/Experience: HS diploma or equivalent GED required: minimum one (two preferred) season(s) of asphalt and road construction experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough understanding of all aspects of asphalt paving; prep work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving very helpful.
