Borderless Friends Forever (BFF) is a non-profit organization that places international high school exchange students across the United States. BFF promotes world peace by cultivating opportunities for cultural and educational exchanges.
We are seeking a responsible, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to find host families for students and then supervise and mentor those students throughout their exchange experience.
You will be working part-time as an independent contractor and will be paid based on the number of students that you place and supervise.
As a Community Advisor, you will:
- Recruit and select qualified host families for international high school students
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your families and students, offering support and guidance for a successful experience for all
- See the students each month they are on-program, visit the family home every 3 months (3 times), and complete a monthly monitoring report form
- Organize and coordinate social and/or cultural events for students and host families.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with children, teens, and/or families
- Self-motivated and comfortable reaching out to new people
- Responsive through email and phone/text
- Resourceful and able to problem-solve
- Computer literacy, including navigating PDFs, social media, and web and smartphone apps.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Candidates should be at least 25 as you will be working with older teens in a supervisory role while they are in the US
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $1,700.00 - $8,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week
