What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casino Floor Porter position at Bordertown Casino and RV Resort?
Responsibilities: Cleaning and maintaining all areas around the property. Including the casino floor, bars, bathrooms, and offices. Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Sweeping Floors and carpets
- Maintaining cleanliness of restrooms and offices during your shift
- Disinfecting and maintaining all areas on the casino floor; to include but not limited to gaming machines, ash trays, counter tops, trash cans, floors etc.
Work Hours:
Day and Swing Shifts Available
Qualification/Skills:
- Basic, written, and verbal communication skills
- Lifting a minimum of 45 lbs. daily
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Planning, problem solving and teamwork.
- High energy and ability to multi-task
- Ability to follow directions and instructions
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Some housekeeping/porter experience
- Familiarity with high paced working environment
- Willingness to learn and take training opportunities when offered.
- A good knowledge of customer care and customer service
- Must be 21 to apply
