Master Scheduler

1.0 Job Summary

Master planner scheduler ensures and plans resources, including labor and machines, to schedule production and assembly activities to achieve customer requirements. Also will logistics personal of all the departments related to supply chain including warehouse management, customer service , production planning & Material management . This position will handle the CSR position and will assure customers claims are treated as customers’ requests and keep the track to minimize future impacts. In the MRP side will supervise by determining the desired inventory levels for raw purchased goods, including safety stock levels As part of the overall administrative task this position will be key user for SAP Modules such as PP, MM & SD . This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager, Borgers Ohio, Inc.

2.0 Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

· Mentor and develop Logistics Department and others as needed.

· Planning, follow up, organizing, and prioritizing work according to production schedules/daily requirements.

· Ensure clear communication across all shifts/ departments pertaining to customer deliveries.

· Continuous improvement of inventory levels.

· Creating, implementing, and auditing ODS for proper operation of the Logistics Department.

· Production planning/Supplier schedules.

· Plan and follow up customer complaints, including portal updates.

· Provide high quality end-user support to SAP users for navigation, transactional processes and reporting requirements designed to ensure user self-sufficiency and productivity.

· Analyze business processes, develop, and implement improvements to streaming, simplify and optimize SAP solutions.

· Train and support the business entities on the tools used within SAP for modules PP & SD.

· Maintain and monitor KPI’s such as: customer claims, expedites, DOH, inventory accuracy & stock levels.

· Prepare and file detailed records on procurement activity, quantity, and vendors.

· Collaborate with management to plan forecasting models.

· Monitor inventory levels and access to the material.

· Manage the distribution of supplier in the organization.

· Ensure sufficient RAW material is available for production schedule while carrying only minimum effective inventory.

· Ensure all suppliers receive and understand the releases in quantity and timing.

· Monitor inventory to ensure supply chain is filled with sufficient raw material.

· MRP SAP - generate, modify, analyze and send releases to suppliers.

4.0 Credentials and Experience:

· Degree as Industrial Engineer/ Supply Chain Economist / Business Administrator focus in Demand or Production Planning.

· 3-year manufacturing demand or production planning experience in increasingly complex roles.

· to effectively administer and oversee the production process.

· SAP Experience in Modules PP & SD

· Customer care experience is required.

· APICS will be a plus.

5.0 Special Requirements

· Authorization to work and reside in the United States

· Able to read and interpret text, schematics, blueprints or drawings.

· 20/20 vision (with or without corrective lenses)

· Ability to differentiate colors.

· Normal hearing ability (with or without corrective device)
