Summary:

Quality management is essential for every organization, regardless of its size or industry. Poor quality can cause customer dissatisfaction, reduced revenue, and even legal issues. To ensure that product quality meets the required standards, it is crucial to hire a quality manager.

A quality manager makes sure products or services meet customer expectations. They oversee quality control, ensuring products comply with standards and specifications. The role demands strong leadership skills, plus the ability to analyze data and communicate well with team members and stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality control processes, procedures, and policies to ensure that products or services meet customer expectations following the APQP approach.

2. Monitor and analyze data related to quality control processes, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.

3. Lead and manage a team of quality control personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.

4. Communicate with other teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure that quality control processes are aligned with business objectives.

5. Perform audits of quality control processes, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for corrective action according to ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standard.

6. Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure that raw materials and components meet established quality standards.

7. Manage and maintain quality control documentation, ensuring that all necessary records and reports are accurate and up to date.

8. Train team members in quality control processes, procedures, and policies, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their jobs effectively.

9. Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products or services, ensuring that quality control processes are integrated into the development process.

10. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to quality control, sharing knowledge and insights with team members and stakeholders.

11. Effective conflict resolution skill to manage critical situations with the customer with a win-win approach always maintaining the focus on the common business continuity.

12. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.

13. Strong leadership with respect to encouraging and training the use of six-sigma processes (FMEA’s, control plans, DMAIC) within the team to reduce waste and rework and to perform daily tasks more efficiently

14. Maintenance of the quality organization according to ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

15. Availability to travel for business.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business is preferred.

2. 5 years of experience in quality control or a related field.

3. Strong leadership and management skills.

4. Excellent analytical and communication skills.

5. Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.

6. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

7. Knowledge ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and 45001 standards and regulations (IATF 16949 is preferred but not required.

8. APQP & Project Management tools knowledge (ISIR, PPAP, CONTROL PLAND, DFMEA, GANTT, others…).

9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

10. Strong Problem-Solving skills.

11. High skill to work under pressure.

12. Self-directed learner; self-motivation; adaptability; critical thinking; manage and resolve conflict; problem solving; business orientation; decision making.

13. Passport is required.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
