Job Purpose
BorgWarner is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an Electronics Process Engineering Intern. The year-round position will help process early prototype electronics which includes learning to run component assembly equipment, data collection of key characteristics of the parts processed, learning to analyze data collected, be able to use hand tools for minor assembly, and be able to document processes.
Key Responsibilities
This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires. This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and coworkers. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities
- Learn to operate process equipment
- Learn to measure and document key parameters
- Learn to trouble shoot minor process problems
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college
- GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
- Ability to use standard software tools such as Microsoft Excel
- Ability to program in VB is desirable
- Ability to use statistics on data collected is desirable
- Confident with using hand tools
- Ability to use SolidWorks is desirable
