Position Summary
The PC&L Associate is responsible for loading and unloading materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and trailers. The operator is responsible for following the job responsibilities within the plant and/or warehouse while operating in a fast-paced environment

Standard Duties
Education
High School diploma or GED required
Experience
3 months of Powered Industrial Truck experience required Active Forklift Certification License preferred
Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems preferred
Experience In Fast Paced Industrial Lean Environment Preferred
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SAP Inventory software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

- Loads product, unloads product, receives product, ship’s product, moves materials at elevated heights, and issues material using system transactions.

Standard Duties
- PC&L Associate will be expected to safely perform all tasks assigned by Leadership including all positions within the Physical Logistics department.
- Safely operates all equipment to which the individual is certified (ex)
- Sit-down Forklifts
- Stand Up Lifts (Both Reach and Pacer)
- Tuggers
- Electric Jacks
- Reads and understands work instructions and/or follows oral instructions to execute the material flow requirements.
- Manually loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves on foot and by hand as required (see physical requirements).
- Accurately and timely enters materials transactional information into SAP and other systems as required.
- Reads electronic and manual bill of materials, pull sheets, pick sheets to retrieve and deliver necessary materials for operations.
- Support 5S / Housekeeping activities as required.
- Use appropriate deviation areas, hold tags, to process defective parts through nonconforming material procedure.
- Loads/Unloads materials into trailers adhering to Dock Safety Protocol.
- Meet physical logistics KPI’s, Associate Engagement and Teamwork
- Adherence to FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and material flow points.
- Wear all required PPE and follow box cutting safety protocols.
- Stand for long periods of time including during operation of stand-up lifts.
- Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs repetitively.
- Stepping up and down off lift; walking long distances over extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Repetitive motion activities including but not limited to box cutting, standing, lifting, loading/unloading carts.
