Borla Performance Industries, the premier manufacturer of stainless steel exhaust systems and components, is seeking a qualified Shipping Technician to join our team in Johnson City, TN.
We are seeking an individual who wishes to join our growing team on day-shift, and who is reliable and prepared to work all assigned hours.
Our Shipping Technician receives, stores and distributes products and materials within the Borla Performance facility and must be able to:
- Receive products from production’s hand off location, stock products into warehouse locations, and update locations within Sage x3
- Read pull tickets, sales orders or other ordering method to determine items to be pulled for shipment
- Pull finished goods from the warehouse area to fulfill orders, carefully verifying identifying information of part numbers and quantities to the order form
- Place picked items as needed on proper pallets or in boxes, document quantities and check for accuracy
- Weigh and photo document shipment, wrap pallets so their secure from damage and separation during transportation, affix labels, packing lists and shipping paperwork to its pallet
- Audit as needed; pallets for proper carton counts, orders for accuracy
- Assist shipping and receiving with loading and unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching material to purchase orders or sales orders
- Move items to/from storage areas to other designated areas
- Assist with warehouse cycle counts and with physical inventory counts
- Aid in the repackaging of exhaust products when requested
- Assist during heavy shipping or vacation periods with the invoicing of shipments and associated paperwork
- Comply and support company quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties and assignments as directed
Qualifications for this position include:
- General knowledge of warehouse procedures and verifiable work history
- Excellent mathematical counting abilities
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. unassisted
- Safe forklift operation experience
- Detailed oriented
- Accurate and concise in work processes
