What are the responsibilities and job description for the Municipal Authority Financial Administrator position at Borough of Birdsboro?
Birdsboro Borough is seeking an organized, self-starting individual to manage all financial operations of the Birdsboro Municipal Authority and provide administrative support to the Authority Board and water and wastewater treatment departments.
Qualifications include:
· working knowledge of municipal finance, preferably modified accrual accounting,
· ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently, and
· proficiency in Office 365 and office practices.
Local government administration and/or utility billing experience is a plus.
The successful candidate must possess a PA Driver’s license, qualify to be bonded for up to one million dollars, and be able to pass a pre-employment substance screening and criminal background check.
