The Borough of McAdoo is accepting applications for Full and Part Time Police Officers.
Requirements for consideration:
Being a United States citizen, a high school or equivalent diploma and 21 years of age or older.
· Act 120 Police Academy graduate and be capable of MPOETC certification.
· Valid PA driver’s license.
· Willing to submit to required background and work history checks.
· The use and care of firearms and other equipment used in the performance of essential tasks.
· Use of computer systems to obtain necessary information of the position.
· Open to working various shifts such as evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
The essential functions and tasks required for the position of full and part-time police officers, include but are not limited to; be visible in the community, communicate with the public and other officers, patrol by vehicle and by foot, apprehension of suspects and appearing in court.
