PART TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – Roseland, Essex County, NJ, is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant - 20 hours per week - M-F 10:00 am to 2:00 pm to provide administrative work involving the handling of confidential information and other material of sensitive nature. The applicant will provide support to the Borough of Roseland Police Department throughout the day-to-day processes. Duties include administrative support to the Police Director/Police Chief, financial, and other clerical tasks including answering telephones, responding to emails, scheduling appointments and maintaining a filing system. Applicant will respond to request for public records and to assist with discovery for municipal court proceedings.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills. Successful candidate must undergo a background check.
