What are the responsibilities and job description for the Borough Manager position at Borough of Sugarcreek?
Sugarcreek Borough is accepting resumes for the position of Borough Manager/Council Secretary. Duties include, but not limited to:
- Supervise and responsible for carrying out the activities of the Administrative and Maintenance Departments.
- Prepare and administer yearly budget.
- Prepare agendas and participate in Council meetings.
- Prepare grant applications.
- Serve as purchasing officer for the Borough, as well as special projects officer.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration; experience as a Borough or Government Administrator; strong executive and administrative skills.
- Experience in budget preparation, grant writing, personnel management, financial management, public relations.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, written communication, and computer technology skills, able to perform essential function of the job.
