Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify mosquito, flea, and tick infestations.
- Assess environmental conditions that may contribute to pest populations.
- Apply pesticides and other control methods according to established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Utilize various treatment techniques, including fogging, barrier sprays, and larvicides.
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and the importance of ongoing treatment.
- Provide recommendations for environmental modifications to reduce pest habitats.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including types of treatments applied and follow-up actions taken.
- Document client interactions and report any further issues or concerns.
- Regularly inspect and maintain equipment and vehicles used for pest control services.
- Adhere to all safety and health policies to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in pest management is a plus.
- Experience in pest control or related fields preferred but not required (training will be provided).
- Knowledge of pest biology and behavior, specifically mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Capable of bending, crouching, and climbing as necessary during inspections and treatments.
