Job Title: HRIS Analyst
The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of our HR system (UKG), ensuring data accuracy and supporting HR operations across the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with HR technology, and the ability to work closely with HR, IT, and business units to improve HR processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration: Manage and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring the system’s reliability, availability, and security for users across the organization.
- Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee records by performing regular data audits and troubleshooting discrepancies.
- System Configuration and Support: Configure and customize HRIS modules (e.g., employee records, time and attendance, payroll, benefits) to align with business needs and requirements.
- Reporting and Analytics: Develop and generate HR reports, dashboards, and data analytics to provide actionable insights for HR and management teams.
- Process Improvement: Work closely with HR and other departments to identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation, implementing system upgrades and modifications as necessary.
- User Training: Provide training and technical support to HR staff and end-users, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to use HRIS tools effectively.
- System Upgrades and Implementations: Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades, new module implementations, and integrations with other business systems.
- Compliance and Security: Monitor and manage system security protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., data privacy, labor laws) and company policies.
- Collaboration with IT: Collaborate with IT and external vendors to resolve technical issues, implement solutions, and manage system integrations.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS administration, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- MUST BE highly proficient in UKG, including experience with configuration and module management. SAP Success Factors additional experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements, especially in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with data reporting and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI) to generate reports and dashboards.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with labor regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the steel manufacturing industry is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or working with labor-intensive industries.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and time management solutions specific to manufacturing operations.
- Certification in HRIS platforms or related HR technology solutions.
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP, Agile).
