What are the responsibilities and job description for the SRM Operational Maintenance Operator position at Borusan Pipe U.S., Inc.?
Job Description: Perform various manual or mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing the production equipment to meet customer specifications. Carry out inspections of the production facility and identify issues. Ensure that all machinery and equipment is running efficiently. Evaluate and determine specific equipment to be addressed during routine maintenance scheduled downtimes. Disassemble, overhaul, and rebuild production equipment. Perform troubleshooting on production equipment as required. Load and move the required equipment into the maintenance area at maintenance times. Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment as required. Follow up of the preparation of consumables in accordance with the maintenance plan. Responsible for replenishing supplies, materials, parts, and tooling required for assigned area. Follow the production closely and intervene immediately regarding any issues caused by the equipment. Monitor inventory of spare parts of critical equipment and parts. Perform on-the-job training and development of assigned personnel. Keeping the maintenance parameter and settings within the MES/PC. Ensure that all maintenance operations are following safety regulations.
Requirements: High school diploma/GED and 5 years of experience as an SRM Operational Maintenance Operator or related occupation. Position also requires 5 years of experience with:
- Manufacturing mill processes, procedures, and quality conditions.
- SRM production processes.
- Operating High Precision Measurement devices such as: OD Calipers, Wall Thickness Device, Flow/Pressure Measurement Calibration, Vibration Measuring and similar.
- Saw Blade Grinding Knowledge is required.
- Induction Coil Repair/Cement Preparation.
- SRM Differential Gear Set Assembly.
- Rotary Saw rotation/adjustment.
- ID scarf Remover Maintenance.
- PPE policies and 5S implementation procedures.
