What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Millwright II - Utility position at Borusan Pipe USA?
Inspect, install, repair and adjust all manufacturing equipment within the facility. Responsible for lubricating and maintaining the BPU manufacturing and ancillary equipment. Responsible for the mechanical maintenance of machinery and equipment within the facility. Analytically troubleshoot and resolve mechanical malfunctions back to OEM Specifications. Check the performance of mechanical equipment and perform assigned PM's. Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and processing Work Orders. Conduct filtration and contamination control. Make necessary equipment repairs during the shift to maintain equipment availability for production. Participate in production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers as it pertains to equipment reliability and availability. Maintain and troubleshoot automatic grease systems and components. Assemble, install, modify or maintain plant equipment and assist in determining appropriate methods to accomplish these tasks. Inspect plant equipment to identify potential problems prior to breakdown occurrence.
Requirements: High school diploma/GED, Crain Operator certification, and 3 years of experience in the position offered or an Industrial Millwright II -Utility related occupation. Position also requires 3 years of experience with:
- Fluid power and pneumatic equipment and systems including servo technology and plant utilities (high volume water pumps and air compressors).
- Interpreting drawings and schematics on pneumatic and fluid power systems.
- Understanding of electrical circuits relating to mechanical equipment and sequencing of mechanical components.
- Industrial manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of water treatment devices and related equipment such as reverse osmosis, softeners, and pumps.
- Testing of coolant and cooling tower water samples to ensure system works.
- Installation of different types of pipes including HDPE, PVC, Stainless and steel pipes.
- Maintenance of compressors, air systems, and ventilation systems.
