Seeking a QA ETL Test Lead with over 10 years of experience in ETL testing and quality assurance within data engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries, performing data analysis, and testing ETL processes for data migration projects. The role demands strong leadership, a deep understanding of ETL tools, and the ability to manage complex testing efforts across multiple projects.
QA ETL Test Lead will be responsible for ensuring that data is accurately transformed and loaded, validating data migration processes, and ensuring the overall quality of ETL pipelines.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
10 years of experience as a QA Engineer working on Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or ETL Testing projects.
Hands-on experience with ETL testing (working with large volumes of data) and SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
Solid understanding of data migration processes and the ability to validate and verify data across different environments (staging, production, etc.).
Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Apache Nifi, etc.), and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to design complex SQL queries for data validation and reporting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in test script creation, execution, and debugging.
Ability to design and implement test plans, test strategies, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Tosca (test automation tool) is a plus.
Familiarity with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-based ETL processes.
Prior experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks for ETL processes.
