Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent leadership, effectively managing workers, overseeing financial and top administrative operations within the dealership and working closely with the Dealership Management Team to shape the organization's future
- Assigns clerical work such as typing, filing, copying, data entry and record keeping while ensuring the balance of work between staff members.
- Manages office budget and expenses. Helps manage the office calendar. Manages office or department supplies within budget.
- Executes procedures for managing office files and records, including but not limited to archiving records and files as well as the retention of files.
- Follows and enforces all company policies and procedures per Employee Handbook.
- Provides administrative assistance as needed. Assists HR Director with compiling new employee payroll and insurance documentation as well as other HR forms as necessary.
- Provides timely and accurate reports as required by Controller calendar. Maintain accurate accounting schedules. Reconcile all scheduled accounts on a monthly basis. Reconcile petty cash monthly. Maintain accurate sales tax remittance.
- Daily bank reconciliation. Check bank account daily for accuracy and fraud.
- Posts and balances monthly manufacturer statement. Vehicle flooring and payoffs are up to date and reconcile monthly floorplan statement.
- Submits monthly financial statements by the manufacturer due date.
- Report all material write-offs to the CFO.
- Attends all staff meetings, training and educational classes as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned and accepts new projects willingly.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Requires the skills and knowledge to that of a College Degree in Business or related field with experience in supervising or managing staff. Working knowledge of the industry with previous experience preferred.
- Must have intermediate knowledge and expertise in: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous experience and database knowledge a plus. Experienced with business application including payroll, scheduling and accounting software preferred (preferred CDK/ADP experience). Ability to develop and manage a budget.
- Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills including the ability to maintain composure under stress. Professional appearance; strong organizational skills; dependable and punctual. Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and adapt to changing deadlines and fast-paced environment.
