Responsibilities
- Cleans vehicle exteriors, interiors, windows, and doorjambs. Applies wax to auto bodies and buffs surfaces.
- Vacuums interior spaces to remove loose dirt and debris. Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and devices.
- Applies revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces. Treats fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
- Cleans engines and engine compartments using steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
- Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects and replaces missing or defective parts.
- Restores appearance of engine areas, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces using touch-up paint and other materials.
- Maintains showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
- Ensures proper stickers are displayed in vehicle windows and removes window stickers on sold vehicles.
- Keeps work areas neat and clean. Operates tools and equipment safely and uses proper protection when necessary.
