Job Description
The position will be responsible for the completion of maintenance activities at multiple Bosch facilities.
- Maintain the building automation systems for multiple locations, including completing any repair and installation work that is required.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of the current states of the building automation systems, including all sequences of operation and as built drawings.
- Consult with and assist other facilities in North America on their building automation systems.
- Assist with other maintenance activities, such as building rounds and mechanical equipment maintenance, as required by department leadership.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with programming, job start-up and checkout, and troubleshooting of building automation systems
- Familiarity and/or experience with Johnson Controls Metasys and Niagara Building Automation System platforms
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the tools and techniques used to maintain, diagnose problems, and repair HVAC/R equipment
- Ability to diagnose and repair complex control systems
- Ability to troubleshoot building equipment issues
- Extensive knowledge of multiple DDC systems
- Familiarity with Electrical Safe Work Practices
- Previous aerial work platform operation certification
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program familiarity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Arc Flash Safety programs (NFPA 70E)
- EPA 608 Certification (Universal is preferred)
- Previous forklift operation certification
- Variable Frequency Drive troubleshooting and programming experience
- Experience repairing mechanical equipment – i.e. Air Handling Equipment
- Experience working in teams
- State of Michigan Mechanical Contractor License
- Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) experience
