Job Description
The Finance Intern is a member of the controlling group of Bosch Security Systems with financial business process roles and responsibilities. The position requires working as an effective member of the controlling department, as well as cross-functionally with various departments across the organization (sales, marketing, customer service, credit, and accounting). The successful Intern will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy assuming responsibility and accountability to the business.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to new tax and accounting processes related to ongoing business transformations.
- Generate reports using SAP.
- Assist with monthly tax reporting.
- Join meetings with internal international tax teams and external accounting firms.
- Support financial analysis, rebate pricing verification, data processing, and month end close business processes.
Learning Objectives:
The Finance Intern will partner closely with a staff mentor to build skills in both tax and accounting in a professional environment. You will gain experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders and meeting professional standards in a corporate finance environment.
Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Math, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or Business Analytics.
- GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to multitask and work effectively required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred.
- Experience with Power BI preferred.
Additional Information
The U.S. based hourly rate for this role is between $22.00 - $23.00/hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
