Job Description
At Bosch Research in Pittsburgh, we are looking for research interns to join our team in developing novel technologies at the intersection of machine learning, knowledge representation, and causal AI. More specifically, the intern will help to develop neuro-symbolic AI algorithms and methods based on heterogeneous information, spanning from multi-modal sensor data to textual resources. We wish to integrate such methods into applications across different domains, such as manufacturing and mobility. The intern will focus on the following responsibilities:

Job Description
At Bosch Research in Pittsburgh, we are looking for research interns to join our team in developing novel technologies at the intersection of machine learning, knowledge representation, and causal AI. More specifically, the intern will help to develop neuro-symbolic AI algorithms and methods based on heterogeneous information, spanning from multi-modal sensor data to textual resources. - Design and development of novel neuro-symbolic AI algorithms, implementation and evaluation using data from Bosch
- Technical discussions and creation of new ideas within the existing research team, to improve upon the existing solutions
- Clean, efficient, and well-documented implementation of new neuro-symbolic AI methods
- Publish at leading AI conferences, and ultimately shape the future of Bosch products and services
- Strong background in neuro-symbolic AI
- Experience with knowledge graph technologies, including embedding models
- (plus) Experience with causal AI methods
- (plus) Experience with large language models and multimodal models
- Degree Level: doctoral or post-doctoral
- Major: Computer Science (or related)
- On-site Internship
- Duration: 12 weeks
