Job Description
The Quality Management and Methods team is seeking to add an experienced, dynamic, and talented Senior Quality Engineer to our customer and supplier quality group. The right candidate will enjoy a wide variety of quality management activities. You should be comfortable collaborating with several cross-functional teams and working on multiple complex tasks simultaneously to drive the adoption of new technologies and standards.

Salary Range
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000 - $120,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.

Job Description
The Quality Management and Methods team is seeking to add an experienced, dynamic, and talented Senior Quality Engineer to our customer and supplier quality group. The right candidate will enjoy a wide variety of quality management activities. You should be comfortable collaborating with several cross-functional teams and working on multiple complex tasks simultaneously to drive the adoption of new technologies and standards.
- Collaborate with worldwide customers and other Bosch facilities to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
- Investigate customer returns to identify underlying issues and collaborate with various departments to implement solutions and preventive measures.
- Streamline and enhance the warranty assessment process at the Robert Bosch Fuel Systems Kentwood facility.
- Oversee the daily operations and enhance the facilities of the Local Analysis Center, MAE purchases, 5S, and work instructions.
- Lead and mentor 8D teams to address quality issues.
- Generate analysis reports for customer returns, and work with customers to determine warranty decisions and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with purchasing to ensure supplier PPAPs and Receiving Inspection Plans are properly completed
- Oversee daily receiving inspection activities.
- Communicate with suppliers (internal and external) when a quality issue arises.
- Analyze quality data and produce quality status reports.
- Input and complete QC’s in SAP and upload analysis results into customer EDI systems.
- Monitor and report customer satisfaction levels to management.
- Coordinate PPAP documentation and submissions for new releases and product changes.
- Serve as the ECR QMM representative for the Kentwood Plant, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Share findings and best practices with OE and Reman International Production Network partners.
- Undertake other projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline with 8 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience with PPAP, 8D, Capability Studies, and FMEA
- Firm understanding of problem-solving methodologies
- Excellent communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel when necessary
- Experience with SAP
- Shainin/Six-sigma certifications
