What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Control Engineer position at Bosch?
Job Description
- Electronic Controls Development & Electrical of HVAC water source systems, including Design & Testing of Electrical Boxes, Layout, Harnesses, Specifications and Optimizations of System and Components.
- System Electronic Control Strategy & Component Selections including Blowers, Motors
- Motor Control / Inverter Experience (System Optimization, Specifications, Testing)
- Able to understands the regulations and transfer the understanding to preventive actions or to validation programs.
- Knowledge of HVAC regulations and Regulatory bodies (UL, ETL AHRI, IEC)
- Testing and System Optimization (Simulation & Lab Testing)
- Perform engineering modifications & Update drawings & processes.
- Technical data, material specifications, BOM, wiring diagrams, drawings, test plans.
- Support unit rating, qualification, and reliability testing
- Electrical and Electronics support of new & existing Products
- Electrical designs including cable harnesses & routings, component specs,
- Engineering Product design and development
- Write Reports, Document Data and Communicate Findings
- Ownership to resolve technical problems or prompt response to address issues and escalate as needed.
- Adhere to Safety & Security Protocols
- Proactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect product operation.
- Be a team player within cross function teams, understand multidiscipline needs (Engineering, Marketing, Assembly, Logistics, Purchasing) and support them as needed
- Support cross functional teams including designers, CAD, Lab Technicians, Manufacturing
- Support Product & Project tasks such as testing, lab and manufacturing.
