- Job Description
- Perform planning, design, estimating, and execution of projects related to : facilities maintenance, renovation and restoration, and testing equipment installation and relocation.
- Develop scope of work and / or specifications for mechanical, plumbing, general construction, office and furniture relocations, and related systems for facilities projects. .
- Coordinate contractor activities toward completion of tasks focusing on quality, cost, and timely completion while working with the Facilities Coordinator.
- Participate in development / achievement of departmental goals and objectives. Develop and maintain facility strategies for space utilization, occupancy planning, and testing equipment to meet goals, including utility planning. Investigate and solve facility related problems using standard problem-solving tools / methods.
- Lead projects to improve cost, quality, delivery, and safety of site.
- Support product teams, CIP activities, and site goals.
- Qualifications
- Required :
- High School diploma or GED
- Enrolled in College pursuing engineering degree
- Preferred :
- AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Products
- Preventive / Predictive maintenance Program experience
- Detailed knowledge of facility systems and space planning
- Knowledge of and familiarity with new / available industry technologies and solutions
