Job Summary :
This role manages and optimizes cross-border transportation networks, focusing on performance analysis, operational improvements, and collaboration across regional and global supply chain teams. The position ensures timely delivery, develops carrier relationships, supports tender processes, and provides training and expertise on logistics systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee cross-border transportation (origin, first mile, border mile, final mile).
- Monitor carrier performance, analyze KPIs, and provide insights to enhance operations.
- Collaborate with global and regional supply chain teams for process improvements.
- Provide feedback to transportation providers and scout for optimal carriers.
- Support tender preparation, evaluation, and contract development for transportation.
- Prepare and present transportation performance reports to senior leadership.
- Train carriers, suppliers, and internal teams on policies, service standards, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with freight procurement to manage contracts, rates, and cost analysis.
- Handle escalations, freight claims, and ensure provider expectations are met.
- Identify efficiency opportunities and develop training materials to support ongoing improvements.
he role is based in Farmington Hills / Plymouth. This position offers a Hybrid working environment, combining remote work with in-office presence. Employees must be available to participate in workshops as needed and accommodate domestic and international travel requirements.

Salary Range : The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $114,000 . Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
