- Job Description
- Be the Strategic Buyer for Logistic Services and potentially other categories
- Be responsible for the analysis of the category as well as the development, definition and implementation of the material field strategy in cooperation with the relevant internal business partners.
- Have responsibility in your category over the commercial aspects of supplier management such as preparing and conducting tenders, price negotiations and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Ensure global coordination in the assigned category / material fields.
- Position may require early morning or late night meetings with global development teams_
- Qualifications
- 5 years of professional experience in indirect purchasing as well as experience in material field and supplier strategy. Experience in material field of logistic services preferred.
- Ability to regularly travel domestically / regionally (up to 25%) and internationally (1-2 times / year).
- Passionate, flexible and performance oriented with a high level of resilience and assertiveness.
- Strong team player with preference to work in international teams.
- Self-motivated, structured and bring an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Possess a high affinity for cross-departmental cooperation and international business.
- Proven track record in achieving objectives, experience in leadership and stakeholder management.
- Preferred Qualifications :
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred. German is an additional plus.
