Job Description
This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week)
Dremel is looking for an experienced UX / User Researcher to join our Product Development team, supporting our commitment to becoming a user-centered brand. In this role, you will lead the design, execution, and synthesis of user research that drives innovation in product and brand marketing. You will work cross-functionally, coordinating with external research partners, product teams and UX coaches to deliver actionable insights that guide the creation of user-centered solutions.

Responsibilities :
- Design, plan, and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research using diverse methodologies, such as field studies, lab testing, remote testing, and surveys.
- Coordinate with market research agencies, overseeing partnerships to ensure timely, high-quality insights into user needs and market trends.
- Oversee syndicated research subscriptions to ensure continuous access to critical insights that inform product and brand strategy.
- Develop and implement rigorous, unbiased research methodologies for user interviews, applying user-centered design and Design Thinking principles.
- Identify and deploy digital platforms and tool kits to streamline research processes, maximizing efficiency in data synthesis and insight generation.
- Work closely with product, UX and design teams to integrate research findings into product strategies, design solutions, and technical requirements.
- Partner with UX coaches to consolidate user research and trend analysis into actionable insights, driving product development, innovation, and customer-focused solutions.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $115,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
