We are seeking experienced retail sales professionals to join our dynamic team at Boscov's, a leading retailer of quality merchandise. As a Retail Furniture & Bedding Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Build strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met
Provide accurate product information and promote products through point of sale
Maintain a professional and personalized rapport with each customer to close sales and deliver an outstanding customer experience
Sales Performance
Achieve sales targets through effective communication and negotiation skills
Monitor and track sales performance, maintaining awareness of advertised merchandise and promotions
Store Operations
Maintain the appearance of the selling floor and stock area, adhering to company standards
Accurately complete all transactions and paperwork, following company policies and procedures
Requirements
Prior retail and/or customer service experience preferred
Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to learn selling skills and operate a POS register, computer, and telxon
Available to work varied days and hours as schedule requires
