Job Profile:
The Platform Service Owner – Digital Supply Chain is responsible for the full lifecycle of our technology that supports the Digital Supply Chain value chain – from Manufacturing to Planning and Fulfilment. This includes our MEIS technologies that enable the manufacturing of Bose hardware, Supply Chain planning solutions that enable collaboration in forecasting and supply planning with our contract manufacturing partners, and the ability to fulfill Customer orders throughout the world via Bose-owned and third party distribution centers The Platform Service Owner ensures that we deliver a coherent and cohesive set of services that are easy for our stakeholders to consume and achieve stated service levels.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Applications Delivery, this role is part of an organization that supports all applications cross-functionally—from customer experience and sales to supply chain and G&A functions. The Senior Manager will work closely with their peers and senior business stakeholders across these functions to ensure alignment and enable digital transformation and operational excellence.
Specific Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Alignment:
- Business Partnership – working with senior leaders responsible for MGSC and Supply Chain strategy to oversee the collaborative development, implementation, and sustainment of a multi-year roadmap of investments and projects to deliver on the capabilities and vision.
- Delivery Services - enabling the delivery of end-to-end lifecycle products and services (architect, design, build, operate) for the Digital Supply Chain platform(s), partnering with respective business leaders to enable the desired business outcomes from these platforms and underlying technologies
- Focus on value-delivery, continuous improvement and cost optimization for the platform(s) and is responsible for ensuring that dedicated (and non-dedicated) service and delivery teams can deliver services and solutions that enable our business strategy
- Appropriate ongoing sustainment of the technology, partnering with stakeholders across the value chain to ensure the full lifecycle management and operations Collaborate with business leaders to define and execute a cohesive IT roadmap aligned with organizational goals for Finance, Indirect Procurement, Tax, Integration, and Automation.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand business needs, propose strategic initiatives, and prioritize a project portfolio that drives measurable business impact.
- Act as a thought leader in integrating emerging technologies and automation strategies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency across shared services.
Delivery Management:
- Measuring and communicating Service Level attainment for the platform
- Accountable for the fiscal management of a technology budget, driving cost efficiency efforts including renegotiating key vendor contracts, and getting creative with technology and staffing
- Supports the Resiliency Management Office and Global Information Security to ensure all applications and tools meet all Security, Resiliency, and compliancy requirements (PCI, TISAX, etc.)
- Manager of managers – responsible for the development and performance of a team of managers and/or individual contributors with accountability for sub-Services under the Platform Service. Matrixed (dotted line) management to other Technology Services organizations that provide support necessary to deliver the Platform Services.
Vendor and Financial Management:
- Oversee vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring delivery quality, budget adherence, and service alignment with business needs.
- Drive cost management and value realization for investments, partnering with procurement and finance to optimize software licensing, support contracts, and cloud resources.
- Establish SLAs, KPIs, and other metrics to evaluate vendor performance and accountability.
People and Performance Management:
- Lead a high-performing team, including direct reports and matrixed contributors, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Mentor delivery managers, providing guidance to enhance their effectiveness, build strategic thinking, and improve operational management.
- Drive talent development within the team, supporting career growth, skill development, and succession planning.
- Build strong engineering and software skills within the team, identifying talent gaps and ensuring future team composition aligns with business strategy
- Agile and SAFE scaled agile methodology solution delivery experience, process-driven, focused on solutions and able to lead high-impact and visible projects dedicated to delivering best-in-class service to business.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a management role overseeing shared service applications or similar domains.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional delivery teams in finance applications, integration platforms, and automation technologies.
- Strong knowledge Supply Chain Application tool sets
- Demonstrated vendor management expertise, including negotiation, performance management, and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with financial management practices, including budgeting, ROI analysis, and fiscal responsibility.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and data storytelling skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience within or significant understanding of supply chain, finance, and procurement processes within an Automotive, Consumer Electronics, and/or third-party manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks, with a focus on portfolio planning and resource allocation across agile programs.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, SAFe) and experience in process improvement initiatives a plus.
This position is ideal for a leader with both strategic and hands-on expertise in shared service applications, looking to create impactful change and drive the digital evolution of core business functions.
