The engineering team at Bose is a thriving, passionate, deeply skilled team of professionals from a broad range of disciplines and experiences, who share a common goal—to create products that provide transformative sound experiences.
THE PROGRAM
We're looking for students to join our ASD Supply Chain team who are obsessively curious about process improvement and using data to make informed decisions. Our internship program at Bose will give you a chance to gain the inside track on a unique and rewarding work experience. Our goal is to make your intern experience exciting, meaningful and a valuable opportunity to learn about the automotive industry, the supply chain discipline, and Bose in particular. You will enrich your classroom work with a real-life perspective and develop valuable skills necessary to succeed after graduation.
Opportunities don't stop at your day-to-day work. While you're getting an in depth look at your area of expertise, we'll expose you to other areas of the company. Our interns are given the opportunity to connect with senior leadership across the business to understand different perspectives at Bose. You'll network with other interns and colleagues to grow your network for the future!

THE ROLE
We're looking for a Quality Engineering Intern to join ASD Supply Chain team and to help deliver the best quality to both our consumers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Process and metric development for the Contract Manufacturing Oversight and Customer Quality Engineering Team
- Develop standard metrics and automate those metrics as much as practical
- Interact with the Bose Data Analytics Team to deliver these metrics per the vision of the Global Team.
- Assist with metric development and lead the process to implement
- Be able to work with the global team, lead team meetings, document the process, and execute the monthly metrics, along with identify and suggest process and metric improvements.
To be successful in this role, you should be/have:
- Sophomore level or higher
- Have experience with SAP, Microsoft Suite systems, Power BI, Smartsheets (nice to have), be comfortable with large data sets and creating process improvement while working on a global team.
- Be coachable, inquisitive, self-starter, organized, leader, and a strong communicator.
