Brand Strategy & Positioning:
- Brand Definition & Positioning: Lead the definition of our OEM brand's positioning relative to the broader portfolio of brands of Bose Corporation. Collaborate with Brand and Strategy teams to define criteria that guide brand applicability, considering elements like equity attributes, heritage, product portfolio, and forward-looking strategies.
- Brand External Communication: Develop and articulate brand positioning and application strategies in external documents that support sales teams during Bose Automotive business pursuits.
- Brand Pitch Development: Craft persuasive brand pitches and collaterals that effectively communicate the merits, benefits, and business potential of our brand to OEM partners.
- Brand Guidelines & Standards: In partnership with Brand and Strategy teams, develop and maintain brand standards and guidelines to ensure accurate and consistent brand representation internally and externally.
- OEM Insights: Leverage deep knowledge of OEM needs and preferences to influence product marketing and management decisions, ensuring alignment with product and consumer strategies for optimal selling potential.
- Technology Storytelling: Collaborate with product marketing teams to develop compelling technology narratives that resonate with specific OEM pursuits and market needs.
- Narrative Crafting: Lead the development of pursuit narratives that combine brand identity, technology, and specific product/vehicle applications, activating these stories throughout the selling and launch process.
- Consumer-Facing Collateral: Work closely with product marketing and creative teams to design relevant, consumer-facing collateral for use in OEM selling engagements and in partner-owned or consumer-facing assets.
- Strategic Thought Partner: Serve as a trusted advisor to business teams in defining “Where to Play” and “How to Win” strategies for our automotive pursuits.
- GTM Planning & Playbooks: Elevate the GTM planning process by refining external engagement strategies, defining marketing objectives aligned with the business roadmap, and leading annual operating plans that support business acceleration.
- Learning & Insights: Lead collaboration with product marketing, insights, and analytics teams to develop a learning agenda that uncovers opportunities, challenges, and tactics for continuous market engagement and growth.
- Playbook Innovation: Innovate and refine playbooks covering key areas like Brand Value leverage, Purchase Journeys, Application rate maximization, and Onboarding experiences to ensure consistent and impactful activation.
- OEM Relationship Development: Cultivate strong relationships with key marketing and product decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within each OEM partner organization.
- Industry Awareness: Stay ahead of trends and shifts in the automotive industry and corporate landscape to anticipate their impact on current and future engagements.
- Tailored Engagement: Understand the nuances of each OEM's culture and hierarchy, adjusting your approach to balance formal and informal communications and ensuring you bring in the right stakeholders at the right time.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Lead proactive troubleshooting, leveraging creativity and leadership within cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive success in business pursuits.
- Engagement Planning: Develop comprehensive, thoughtful yearly engagement plans that align with annual operating plan (AOP) strategies and priorities.
- Activation Support & Measurement: Define the merit and necessary support for activations, ensuring measurable outcomes and clear prioritization.
- Playbook & Toolkit Development: Using brand guidelines, create and refine playbooks and toolkits that enable frequent, scaled activations while improving planning, production efficiency, quality, and overall impact.
- Experience:
- 15 years of experience in marketing, specifically in context where managing, leveraging and selling the power of the brand is key.
- Proven expertise in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, brand development, and product marketing in a complex business environment.
- Proven ability to connect brand strategies to commercial needs.
- Experience in account management and building strong, long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Passion and understanding of the automotive landscape is preferred.
- Skills:
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with automotive OEMs.
