Job Description
As the SEO Manager, you will drive SEO strategy & programs (content and technical) aimed at delivering traffic growth, best practice, reporting and platform migration for Bose.com. You will own the global SEO strategy for Bose. You will partner with Content specialists, UX team, Authoring and development teams to implement SEO strategies and ongoing optimizations. You will own SEO reporting and will work with internal analytical teams to develop regular reports, insights as well as own annual goal setting. You will be an SEO Champion within the organization, educating stakeholders about SEO best practices and the value it brings to the brand and business.
Job Accountabilities
- SEO Strategy – Develop and manage SEO strategy to increase Bose organic visibility and rank across key categories. Own keyword strategy across platforms markets, including localization. Set and manage program KPIs. Partner with localization team to identify key search terms and content for optimal execution across markets. Socialize strategy with key stakeholders to gain alignment and build activation plans.
- Bose.com Content – Partner with SEO agency team to define and refine SEO content strategy across Bose priority categories. Partner with website content team to build out SEO content plans and optimize SEO focused content for mid and longer tail keywords to drive web visitation. Partner with site content and authoring teams to ensure continuous optimization.
- Technical SEO – Leverage SEO tools to identify technical challenges and opportunities. Work with development team to ensure schema, site structure and links are implemented to optimize results.
- Insights, Optimization & Reporting – Monitor web sites and pages to report on performance of websites, understand the reasons for changes and update metadata in our CMS system to continuously improve search rankings. Work with analytics team to create dashboards to facilitate reporting and insights across international sites. Leverage 3rd-party reporting platforms (e.g., Adobe, GA, Conductor,) & internal dashboards to deliver insights to drive optimizations
This is a hybrid role (3-days in office) based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Framingham MA.
Required Skills and Competencies
Required Technical Skills
- In depth understanding of SEO landscape and best practice,
- Hands on knowledge/experience with SEO tools and platforms – Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Conductor, SEMRush, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with search marketing (SEO/SEM)
- Experience delivering data and insights to drive SEO adoption and optimization
- Awareness of competitive environment to identify opportunities
- Analysis of digital industry trends that may impact strategy
- Experience working with development teams to guide SEO enablement best practices
- Ability to input into marketing and content strategies to influence adoption of keyword strategy
Required Experience
- Digital Marketing >5 years
- Experience analyzing SEO programs to drive optimization & improvement
- Experience working with DTC ecomm strategies and driving digital campaign optimizations focused on achieving traffic and revenue targets
- Experience partnering with internal teams, managing external agencies and partners to achieve common targets
- Familiar with AI tools and generative engine optimization practices
- Strong presentation & influencing skills
- Strong communication and relationship building experience
- Knowledge about the CE industry a plus
