Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment by accompanying them to exam/procedure rooms
- Organize patient flow according to the schedule, ensuring timely preparation of exam and treatment rooms
- Assist providers in preparing the patient and facilities for procedures
Responsibilities may also include maintaining supplies and equipment for treatments, including equipment sterilization.
Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Mathematical Skills: Basic math functions to manage inventory and prepare medications
- Education/Experience: Certified medical assistant
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Organizational Skills: Ability to follow up on leads and maintain accurate records
