Vehicle Technician

Hours: 40 hours/week, in-person (9am to 5pm on weekdays)

Work Expectations:

• Receiving delivery of vehicles, doing initial inspection, and completing pre-delivery checklists

• Diagnose issues with vehicles and resolve them

• Creating reports on issues and sharing them with the engineering teams

• Take care of general maintenance and presentability of vehicles

• Delivering Boson vehicles to different customers

• Traveling to customer sites to diagnose and fix any issues that arise on their Boson vehicles

• Transport of materials between company locations

• Keep the working area clean and organized

• Maintain inventory of tools and parts available in the workspace

• Willing to take up other tasks and help other technicians as required

• Willing to come into work or attend meetings outside of business hours occasionally

Skills Required:

Mandatory:

• Ability to work with common tools found on a shop floor

• Capability to drive a pickup truck and tow a trailer

• Prior experience doing hands-on work on automobiles including chassis, suspension, brakes, tires, etc.

• Knowledge of electrical wiring

• Ability to work well with others, collaborate on projects, and contribute positively to group dynamics

• Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances, handle multiple tasks or projects, and adjust to new ideas or approaches

• Capability to efficiently manage time to meet deadlines

Additional skills (not mandatory):

• Basic knowledge and skill of welding, fabrication, and soldering

• Solar panel, inverter, and battery installation
