Description: Ensure the efficient operation of the Athletic Directors office and provide clerical services to the Athletic Director / Workforce Solutions. Must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision. Handle confidential information and frequent contact with all levels of district employees, outside agencies, and the general public. Qualifications: Education/Certification: High school diploma or GEDSpecial Knowledge/Skills: Athletic Director: Act as Administrative Assistant to the Athletic Director and as his/her liaison between students, parents, coaches, staff members, and the communityManages the Athletic Directors schedule, accepts phone calls on their behalf, meets with vendors, and sends communication at the Athletic Directors requestManages Athletic Google calendar with all contests times and locationsScheduling for Events (Transportation, meals, administration/supervision)Responsible for communication of Athletic events and results in coordination with the Athletic Director and Head CoachesGreets and provides assistance, information, materials to visitors, parents, students, and community members regarding athletic programs and guidelines, referring inquires to the appropriate AdministratorWorking with coaches to keep current with bus driving requirementsPrepare purchase orders as neededCompile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as requiredServe as a liaison between Athletic Director and Athletic Booster ClubUpdate websites with Athletic informationSchedule Scorebook and Clock workers for Volleyball and Basketball gamesMaintains a flexible schedule in order to attend Athletic eventsOrganizes student awards/recognition, signing events, parent meetings, banquets, Senior/Parent nightsHelps with student academic needs regarding eligibility and scholarships Other: Support Ms.
