General
- Interact with customers and coworkers at a professional level, able to work both independently and as part of a multi-tasking team.
- Communicate with customers, in a timely manner, to schedule site visits that efficiently manages available time.
- Expected to perform other duties directly related to the normal course of Southern Current’s business, which may fall outside of this job description.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of integrity and organizational capacity to manage multiple projects
- Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner while staying organized to manage task queues daily.
New Installs
- Support the progress of solar projects from contract through execution.
- Assist the team in coordination with local jurisdictions to include gathering permits and attending local inspections.
- Ideal candidate would have experience in the installation or management of solar installations.
- Will work with team members or collaborators on the design, procurement, and construction of the projects.
- Creative problem-solving skills matched with strength in executing under pressure and with continuous change
- Understanding of financial models and management of budgeting cash flow
- Review AHJ's (Authority Having Jurisdiction) permit rejection reasons / comments. Identify and correct any issues or discrepancies holding up a project from getting permitted or after installation, getting a passed inspection.
- Support the submittal, processing, and approval of solar interconnection applications with utilities.
- Work with the team to establish accurate installation dates. Communicate with the customer appropriately.
Service
- Learn and understand how to remotely troubleshoot residential solar equipment to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Be able to analyze a site to determine source of various issues and identify an effective and efficient solution.
- Interpret building and electrical plans to compare to as-built installation.
- Attend regular meetings with other departments to understand outlook the available resources of the team.
- Provide complete and thorough documentation and reports upon completion of each assigned job.
- Become familiar with a variety of solar equipment, including racking, modules, inverters, etc.
- Aid with general service needs to include monitoring troubleshooting, post install documentation, and customer install concerns.
- Should be able to identify additional needs to complete requested tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
