Salary : JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and invoice generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The hours for this position are 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm, Monday to Friday.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Timely verification and processing of customer invoices daily

Ensure all project expenses, including labor, are costed, and billed accurately

Daily data review, validation, and pricing of new projects

Assist in the month-end / quarter-end / year-end close process

Reconcile various balance sheet accounts

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system

Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial information

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree (preferably in accounting / finance)

1-2 years of related experience preferred

Experience, Accuracy & Diligent Electronic Processing of Invoices to Customers

Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, Intacct) preferred

Ability & dedication to prioritizing and completing tasks accurately and efficiently

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
