Art Consultant
Boston Art seeks a full-time Art Consultant to join our fun, hardworking, growing team. Art consultants occupy a creative, client-facing, leadership role and exist as ambassadors for the entire firm to industry professionals, artists, clients, and vendors.

Boston Art is a leading full-service art consulting firm specializing in planning, designing, and delivering custom art programs for corporate, healthcare, hospitality residential, and institutional clients. We maintain a rotating inventory of artwork in a variety of styles, media and price ranges. Responsibilities:
· Manage the design, acquisition, framing and delivery of art programs to corporate, healthcare, hospitality and private clients
· Market products and services to prospective clients who are relocating, renovating or rebranding their spaces; qualify clients and prepare and lead client presentations and pitches
· Sustain relationships with recurring client base, actively seek out new leads, and collaborate with architecture and design firms on new projects
· Work closely with the client and/or designer to understand brand, mission and budget and then resource and propose a suitable program of artwork
· Manage client meetings, high-level strategy, budgets, timelines, art research & selections, vendor & artist management, client management, graphic design, etc.
· Manage support staff to acquire, process and deliver artwork and framing services, and, once sale is closed, remain available for further recommendations and follow-up
· Research real estate development news, construction data to contribute to company’s global understanding of all business development opportunities in Boston and surrounding area
· Contribute to company-wide resource libraries and databases and work collaboratively with other consultants; ensure assigned fiscal goals are achieved
Our Ideal Candidate:
· Extremely comfortable giving presentations to large groups and has a passion for and a strong familiarity with contemporary art and interior design.
· Comfortable working in an office /gallery environment 4/5 days a week
· A for-profit business background, a good understanding of the Boston real estate, development and construction marketplace and an ability to thrive in and easily navigate fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong drive to develop relationships and meet new people
· A creative problem-solver, avid researcher and innovator; someone who aims to surprise and delight
· Excellent taste and a surpassing ability to understand someone else’s vision and goals
· Results-oriented; driven by success; a confident strategic thinker and self-starter
· Exhibits excellent judgment, time-management and prioritization in order to meet deadlines and respond efficiently to changing workflow needs; strategic and mental agility

Qualifications:
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree; excellent academic record
· Experience with a design firm, art gallery or high-end product sales preferred
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative suite preferred
· Driver’s license required; use of a car will be required for this position
