What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collaborative and Loving FT Nanny Needed for 14 Month Old position at Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny?
Caring family in Needham is seeking a full time nanny. There are 2 older children in the house (6.5 and 8.5), however care will be primarily for the young toddler (14 month old boy). Applicants must be at least 21 years old, cpr/first aid certified, vaccinated for Covid/Flu and have a minimum of 3 years' experience. Previous experience nannying for toddlers is required!
The ideal candidate should be energetic, proactive, adaptable, and knowledgeable about childhood development. The nanny should be communicative and comfortable with the presence of the parents, especially the mom, who is a stay-at-home parent while the dad works long hours.
The nanny's main role is to care for the 1-year-old boy, including preparing healthy meals, doing engaging activities, feeding, bathing, and putting him to bed. However, the nanny will also assist with one of the older children a few hours a week while the mom is with the other child. When all three children are home the nanny will partner and collaborate with mom to split childcare responsibilities.
Additionally, the nanny will help with family laundry and cleaning the kitchen after dinner while the mom puts the older kids to bed.
The family travels to Lake Ontario for three weeks during the month of August and is open to the nanny joining them, however this is not a requirement. On the job driving is not required, however parking is available.
Schedule: M-F 11:30am-7:30pm (40hr/week).
Rate: $30-$35/hr BOE.
