What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Full Time Nanny Needed for Growing Family position at Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny?
A sweet family in Concord is seeking an experienced nanny for their growing family—three children (ages 7.5, 4, and 2.5) with newborn twins expected in May. While the nanny likely won’t be responsible for all five children at once, they should be comfortable and confident working with multiple children and a range of ages. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, CPR/First Aid certified, up to date on the TDAP vaccine, and have a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience. Responsibilities will primarily focus on the children and include school drop-offs and pick-ups, driving the older children to and from activities, caring for the babies while the older children are at school, preparing simple meals for the children, planning age-appropriate activities and outings, and tidying play areas. Mom will be available at times to assist, so the nanny will not be responsible for all the children at once. Mom’s work schedule is flexible, and she will be in and out during the day, offering support and help to tag-team during busier periods. Candidates should be loving, nurturing, adaptable, energetic, patient, compassionate, and able to work well as part of a team. The family would love a nanny who is open to traveling with them to Martha’s Vineyard in August. On-the-job driving is required, so candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
