What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flexible and Attentive Live-In Special Needs Nanny position at Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny?
Friendly family in Milton is looking for a flexible and loving Full Time, Live In ,Special Needs Nanny for their 7.5-year-old son. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, CPR/First Aid certified, preferably current on COVID and Flu vaccines, and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience. The family is seeking a nanny who is looking for a long-term commitment and can grow with them over time! The family spends their summers in Maine and are hoping to find someone who is open to both locations (a separate live in space is available in both homes). Responsibilities will be mostly child-related (meal prep, dishes, organizing, planning developmentally appropriate activities, etc.) Experience with autism and ADHD is required.There is a friendly dog in the home, so candidates comfortable with animals are preferred. Candidates must be calm, proactive, energetic, communicative, engaging, and organized. Driving is required; so, a clean driving record and valid driver’s license are needed. A family car will be available for on-the-job driving. There are two older children in the home (ages 12 & 15) who require no supervision but may need an occasional ride to an after-school activity. Candidates should be comfortable working as a team with a stay-at-home mom and pitching in where needed. The family will guarantee 38-40 hours per week but will need some flexibility with the schedule. Tentative schedule: 1230 PM - 8PM but is subject to change. Family may occasionally need help on the weekends but would provide ample notice. Rate: $28-$33 per hour, BOE. Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 1 week paid sick leave, Paid holidays Start Date: Early January.
