A friendly family in Swampscott is looking for a loving and communicative nanny for their two boys, ages 1.5 and 3.5. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, CPR/First Aid certified, preferably current on COVID and flu vaccines, and have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. Prior toddler experience is required. The family would love to find a nanny looking for a long-term role that can grow with them! Responsibilities will be child-related, including school pick-up, taking children to and from activities, engaging in age-appropriate activities, simple meal prep, and children’s laundry. There is a friendly dog in the home, so candidates who are comfortable with animals are preferred. Mom and Dad work from home in a separate space, so the nanny will have autonomy during the day. Candidates must be proactive, energetic, punctual, engaging, knowledgeable about child development, active, and clear communicators. On-the-job driving is required, so a clean driving record is essential. A family car is available if needed.
Schedule:
- April - September: 42 hours guaranteed. M-Th (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), F (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
- September onwards: 40 hours guaranteed, with shifts adjusting to Monday & Wednesday as the children will be in part-time preschool
Rate: $30 - $34 per hour, based on experience (BOE).
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (1 to align with family vacation), 1 week paid sick leave, paid holidays.
